Argh!! Stop, time, stop!!

Wow, time whizzes right by your head when you're not looking. Its Feb-bue-airy already, and I haven't even flipped a page of that blue Cold War I'm supposed to have memorized from cover to cover already. (I did read the preface, though. And maybe a couple of pages in the first chapter, but that's about it...so....)

On the other hand, I did manage to get a really cool pointer/cursor set for my laptop. :D Really does add a subtle touch of (sort-of) elegance to the overall theme.

And yeah, my life's upside down as of now. Literally. Due to an insane number of factors, causes and events, I now sleep in the morning, wake up at 7pm, have dinner at around 12-1 am, (no lunch required), then stay up all through the morning, then go to bed at approximately 10-12 pm. the next day. My body clock is so screwed I can't can't even begin to assimilate back into a normal schedule. Not for the next few weeks anyway.

Its an intensely weird feeling I must say. Feels like a cross between a hard-working EuroDance DJ (the music keeps me going, thank the Lord for mp3 players), a meth junkie (needing no sleep), a fat security guard, (I share similar lethargic behavior), and a drunk, (slightly more focused mental faculties though just as hazy).
Its at best, a weird lifestyle.

Hoping to kick this habit soon though, but its too damned addictive. On the plus side, I do get to see the Doha sunrise everyday, which is therapeutic to some extent. On the minus, I do get godawful eyebags. More like eyeluggages. Packed by overzealous Japanese tourists.

But hey, life's too short to spend half your life in bed. Might as well make use of the mornings, sleep when its hottest, then work when the air's cool and breezy. I just might have found the secret to increased productivity. Or not.
